As time permits, back issues of Insight On Rules, which appears in Radio World newspaper will be added to this page. Where the article references an FCC rule, a link is generally established to that rule. Rules are of the form Part.Section (for example, if the rule is 73.1400, it refers to part 73, section 1400). Two links are formed off each rule section. The first link is on the Part (ie, 73). This links to a PDF (Portable Document Format) copy of the rule with graphics. You can get a free PDF reader from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com. The second linke off a rule section (ie, 1400) returns the requested rule section in HTML with links to other cited rules and the Federal Register, but no graphics.
Links to FCC documents are generally of the form YY-nnnn. A link from the YY portion of the citation returns the requested document in Word Perfect format. A link from the nnnn portion of the citation returns the requested document in HTML with links to rule sections, other FCC documents and the Federal Register, but with no graphics.
